I really loved this course –  Long Term Food (and Water) Storage by Creek Stewart

With everything on in the world, hurricanes, blackouts, ice storms, fuel shortages, tornados and pandemics, we need to be prepared for any disaster.

If there is an interruption in our food supply chain (farming, shipping, meat production, etc) and you do not have Long Term Food Storage in place then it will be a disaster for you.

And storing food and water is of extreme importance.  One month after Hurricane Sandy there were still areas without electricity.  In Texas the grocery stores were cleaned out immediately. Water pipes burst and there was no drinking water.

If you are not putting away long term food and water storage you are in denial of the world we now live in.

Emergency Preparedness

For those of you who are procrastinating because you don’t know how to begin, let me tell you about this new course by Creek Stewart. He teaches you how to store food long term.

Creek has the popular survival show on The Weather Channel.  He knows what he is talking about.

He goes through everything you need to know about storing food.  What hold most of us back is not knowing how to start. In the course he teaches you everything you need to do to get started.  He goes into how to build a food pantry on a budget. He starts from nothing to show you how it is done.

From what food to buy and what containers to use to how to store your food and everything in between, this 120+ video course will equip you with the knowledge, tools, and quick-action steps you’ve been looking for to get a long term food storage pantry in place.

And Much, Much More

Many other topics covered such as Long Term Water Storage, Sprouting, Off-Grid Cooking Methods, and even how to build a $20 composting toilet!

I learned all about preserving water and what containers to use. And of course how to filter your water so it is drinkable. What filters to buy and how to use them.

And the composting toilet information is a must if you can’t flush.

If you have wanted to start building a long term food storage pantry for you and your family, he can help you – EVEN IF you have nothing on hand right now AND are on a limited budget. He gives you many ways to get cheap food storage.

Aim for 72 hours’ worth of supplies. That’s three days. Once you’ve got that in place, move up to a week, then two weeks, then a month. Before you know it, you’ll have a year’s worth of rotating supplies in your storage space.
