72 year old woman tied for 8th out of 109 in Ruffed Grouse Sporting Clays Shoot at Addieville East Farm in Rhode Island.  Comes in first in Ladies division.  That’s me.  I had surgery on my hand last winter and did not shoot for 5 months.  I just started shooting again the beginning of June and didn’t get in much practice due to all the rain.

I wanted to shoot this tournament so I worked with my coach twice (wanted to do more) before it.  I scored 89 out of 100.  After not shooting for 5 months I wanted to get help to work out the kinks and make sure I didn’t start the season with any bad habits.

If I hadn’t gotten coaching would I have done as well?  There is no way of knowing.  But coaching gives you that extra edge, the bit of confidence and allows you to correct your mistakes.

So what does this have to do with internet marketing you ask?  First of all if a 72 year old woman can beat all these men at a game of breaking clay pigeons, then you can do it in internet marketing.  Now I ran the the first 8 stations (out of 16) then I petered out a bit. So I learned I have to work on my stamina and mental focus for the whole course.

If you are a beginner at making money online then I would strongly suggest a coach or mentor right away before you get any bad habits.  And a coach will guide you in the right direction.

If you are an intermediate at online marketing, I would also suggest a coach.  Coaches will help you.  They will say what are your plans for the week.  Are you focused on the right strategy?

It wasn’t until I got myself a mentor or coach that I started making real money online.

A mentor will cut years off your learning curve. Mentors and coaches provide information and knowledge. And most importantly, he or she will help you get started.

He or she will guide you in the right direction and push you when needed. A coach will provide constructive criticism.

A mentor will encourage you to keep going. You can discuss new ideas with your coach. They will instill confidence in you.

Some will introduce you to their circle of experts. They can give you a different perspective.

Find a person in your niche who is actually achieving what you want to achieve and pay, yes pay for their coaching.

It will probably be a significant amount of money but if you want success it is the best way.

As Tony Robins always says: “If you want to be successful, find someone who has achieved the results you want and copy what they do and you’ll achieve the same results.”

That’s why a mentor is so great. Get one now!
