If you’ve read the about me page you have seen that I wanted to make some extra income after I retired.

As I mentioned, I signed up with Dean Holland and his Internet Profits Program.  I will be blogging here about my journey to internet marketing success.  As we proceed along the way I hope you will get a head start on your journey to making money online.

Now for those of you who know me, I do have another blog SeniorsOnlineBiz.com. 

Dean’s experts have informed me that I need to brand myself and streamline my blog.  So this is the  beginning of my branding. I have not abandoned the other blog and you can check it for up to date information on making money online.

What we are doing is building a foundation first.  This blog is the first step to getting traffic and eventually making sales.  Can you make money online this without a blog/website?  Yes, you can.  You can use affiliate marketing and send everyone to the offer.  The drawback is that you do not get to capture email addresses.

Dean encourages everyone he works with to start a list and capture email addresses.  So don’t panic it is not absolutely necessary. I would suggest if money is the reason you are not setting up your own website and autoresponder to capture emails that you make a bit of money using affiliate marketing and then get started on your own list.

I can remember when I first started my list and got a couple of people to sign up.  It felt awesome.  Someone told me if you couldn’t get 100 people a month to sign up for your list you shouldn’t be in internet marketing.  I can tell you right now that is nothing you want to tell a beginner struggling to learn what’s what and trying make money online.

One hundred people a month was overwhelming to me.  How was I going to get one person let alone 100?  Don’t let someone talk you out of your dream.  Take little steps and it will be possible.

On my other blog I disabled comments.  My thinking is that comments lead to viruses.  But I was told to encourage comments and to be sure to reply to them.  If you have a question about making money online just drop it in the comment section and I will respond.

One nice thing about Internet Profits is that he gives you a 30 day challenge.  This challenge is to get you making money in 30 days or less.
